Congratulations on taking this opportunity to immerse yourself in Love, Joy and Playfulness!
This note will have some immediate information to get you all set for the trip. More information will come at a later date.
The Retreat Centre
The retreat is set to begin on Tuesday, September 2 after 10:30 am. We will arrive in time to have lunch but we may not be able to get into our rooms until later in the day, depending on when the last group left.
All meals and snacks are included throughout the day. There will be 3 meals and at least one snack time in a full day. You may also bring a few personal snack items if you wish.
We will leave the retreat centre on Friday after lunch and before 2:30 pm.
There will be one meal that is a Come Dressed for JOY occasion. You may want to dress in some way that brings you joy – perhaps as a past life character, a favourite historical era or simply as something that makes your heart sing. This is your opportunity to express your Soul’s Energy in your unique style.

The Hotel
I am staying at the Novotel in Vaughan. This is where the bus will pick us up. If you stay at a different hotel, you will need to take a taxi to the Novotel in time for the bus pickup at 10 am. If you wish to stay at the Novotel in Vaughan, I have reserved a block of rooms. You have to call the front desk in order to book with the reduced rates. You will not get the reduced rates if you book online. This is the information you will need when you call:

Please feel free to arrange to share a room with another person to help reduce your costs. All the reserved rooms have 2 queen beds.
If you call for the reduced block rates and there are none available, please let me know and I will add more rooms. I do suggest you book your room as soon as possible to avoid the situation of not being able to book a room due to the hotel being fully booked.

If you are flying in, you may want to arrive on Monday, September 1, and take a taxi to this hotel so you are ready for the bus on Tuesday morning.
The return bus will also be bringing us back to the Novotel Vaughan. You may wish to book Friday night at this hotel for convenience, if you wish, but you are free to book anywhere you’d like.
So, you may wish to book Monday, September 1 and also Friday September 5 at the Novotel. That is what is included in the reserve block of rooms. If you are staying for Canada’s Wonderland, you may want to add Saturday, September 6 to your reservation.
Wonderland Side Trip!
I am going to Canada’s Wonderland on Saturday, September 6. Their fall schedule isn’t out yet so there is a very slim chance that the park will be rented out that day (very slim). If that’s the case, I will find something else fun to do and you are invited to join me. This excursion is not included as part of the retreat gathering. If we go to Wonderland, we will share taxis to get there and pay our own way for the day. I will be staying at the Novotel for Saturday night too after the day at Canada’s Wonderland. You may wish to book Saturday night too if you plan to join me at Wonderland. Saturday night is not included in the reduced block though because it’s not something everyone will choose to take part in.
Retreat Chat!
I am going to create a chat for the retreat in Patreon. It will be open to everyone in Patreon but it will be designated as a space for us to share information and/or questions about the retreat. It can also be where you will be able to see who else is going and perhaps arrange with someone to share a hotel room. We can also share our photos here after/during the retreat!
